Sri Sai Ranganathan Engineering College Central Library has a built-up area of 3,640 square feet with a seating capacity of 150 students. In addition to the Central Library, departmental libraries are maintained in each department with subject-specific collections for quick reference and academic support. The Central Library houses a rich collection of 31,089 printed books comprising 5,316 titles covering Engineering and Technology, Science, Humanities, and Management Studies.

The library provides access to a wide range of learning resources including national and international journals, back volumes of periodicals, project reports, NPTEL video lectures, e-books, educational CDs/DVDs, databases, and previous semester question papers of Anna University. These resources support the teaching, learning, research, and extension activities of the institution.

To enhance library operations and user services, the library has been upgraded to Koha (Version 25.05.08), a web-based open-source Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). Koha automates all major library functions, enabling efficient management of library resources while providing seamless access to information for students and faculty members.

The implementation of Koha has significantly improved the organization, storage, retrieval, and circulation of library materials. The system reduces manual workload in cataloguing, acquisitions, circulation, serial control, and report generation while ensuring accurate and timely library services.

The library's Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) allows users to search the collection, check the availability and location of books, and view borrowing status in real time. The software supports essential library operations including cataloguing, circulation management, acquisitions, serials management, user administration, report generation, and barcode integration.

The Central Library serves as a knowledge resource center with an extensive collection of books, journals, magazines, and project reports. It aims to facilitate the creation, dissemination, and exchange of knowledge, information, and intellectual contributions among students, faculty members, researchers, and the academic community.

The library resource center is fully automated and equipped with modern information technologies such as barcode scanners, multimedia resources, CDs, DVDs, and digital storage systems. Through the Koha Library Management System, users can efficiently access and utilize the library's resources, ensuring a technology-enabled learning environment that supports academic excellence and lifelong learning.
