The Lions Club is a worldwide organization that was established in the year 1917 with a goal of serving communities and promoting humanitarian efforts. The SSREC college has a Lions club chapter that participates in various service projects and initiatives. Through their activities, the SSREC Lions Club aims to create a positive impact of society by providing aid to those in need. NSS stands for National Service Scheme. It is a program initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, to develop the personality of the student through community services. The NSS unit of Sri Sai Ranganathan Engineering College (SSREC) provides opportunities for students to participate in various activities like Blood Donation Camps, Tree saplings Plantation, Awareness Programme, Medical camps and much more. Recognition letters were offered by the various Government and non-Government agencies for the various social activities conducted by our NSS student unit. NSS not only helps students in developing their skills and knowledge but also instills a sense of responsibility towards the society and the nation as a whole.
