About the Department

The Department of ECE has excellent infrastructural facilities. It aims to produce graduates who are part of high-tech elite: professionals with specialist understanding and communication skills who have a solid knowledge of electronic engineering as a whole. Also the department right from its inception has been to provide high quality training in various fields of ECE. Along with UG, the department also offers ME in VLSI Design. The department is actively contributing towards various activities every year by organizing Technical Seminars, Technical Symposium, Workshops and National Level Conferences.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

POE1: To produce graduates with strong knowledge in the fundamentals of Mathematics, Electronics and Communication Engineering with the ability to use these tools in their chosen field of specialization.

POE2: To inculcate Professional and Ethical attitude, effective communication skills and multidisciplinary approach among graduates to relate engineering issues to broader social context.

POE3: To produce graduates with the ability to demonstrate technical competence in the fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering to identify, formulate, analyze and develop engineering solutions using appropriate current engineering techniques, skills, and tools.
